Welcome, this is Nasim. I am a researcher with strong interests in swarm robotics, autonomous agents, deep reinforcement learning, and intelligent robotic systems. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University
Currently, I am a Research Assistant at the NSU Intelligent Robotics (NIRO) Laboratory, North South University, where my work focuses on swarm robotics architectures. I am working on to integrate machine learning techniques into both centralized and decentralized control systems to improve swarm coordination, adaptability, and overall efficiency. Previously, I worked as a Part-time Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NSU, where I explored resource-efficient visual deep reinforcement learning (DRL) for autonomous robots, with an emphasis on segmentation-based vision and custom dataset development.
Besides my academic responsibilities, I am also one of the Founding Member of NSU Ignite, a robotics team, where I contributed to designing and building autonomous robots for competitions, while also leading workshops to mentor and inspire aspiring robotics enthusiasts.
I am actively seeking collaborative research opportunities and actively exploring graduate-level research (MS/PhD) to further advance the field of intelligent robotics and autonomous systems.
